In Spring of 2019, Ethan started work on his Eagle Scout Project, renovating the gardens in front of the Henderson Free Library and Fire Department. Ethan noticed the garden needed a lot of attention and so he approached the Librarian who put Ethan in contact with Eric Anderson, the Fire Chief. Chief Anderson helped with the gardens' design and how to determine the cost. The project was finished by the end of May, tremendously improving the design and appearance. Ethan had help from several of friends over the course of the three weeks with a total of 150 hours put into the project. The project beneficiary was Mr. Eric Anderson and project coach was Mr. John Johnson.
In Fall of 2019, Ethan will be enter the tenth grade at Belleville Henderson High School where he is active in Varsity Swimming and Diving, the National Junior Honor Society, Whiz Quiz, Band, Marching Band, and Sources of Strength.
Ethan hopes to attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, become an officer, and eventually be a Naval Architect and design vessels for the Navy.
