2014 February Blizzard Emergency Response

When nearly 100 motorists were stranded in the Village of Adams because of a severe Lake Effect snowstorm, the Boys from 586 responded to help our volunteer fire department and others to provide food , shelter and warmth to our new friends. Our scouts helped cook food, made over 100 subs, entertain, and then shovel snow off motorists cars. Our Troop was later recognized by NYS Senator Patty Ritchie for our efforts along with the other volunteers who responded.
