Boy Scout Troop 586 answered a call to service from our community by participating in an Honor Guard at the Rally to Support Ft. Drum on March 20, 2015. Scouts from our troop served in and Honor Guard presenting our Nation's Flag during the ceremony in front of over 3,000 people. The U.S. Flag was one given to Troop 586 by Chief Warrant Officer Charles Leikam. The flag flew in a Black Hawk Helicopter over Afghanistan on September 11, 2013. Mr. Leikams son, a member of Troop 586, was the flag bearer during the ceremony.
